PWCS Schools Closed Tuesday, Feb. 9 on Code Red
All Prince William County Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, February 9, on Code Red. The School Age Care Program will not open.

Superintendent Presents Proposed FY2011 Budget
Reduced funding, increased student enrollment equal $79 million gap for FY2011. Dr. Steven L. Walts, Superintendent of Schools, presented his proposed budget for next year at the Feb. 3 School Board meeting. Read more.
Kindergarten Registration for 2010-11
Kindergarten registration for the 2010–11 school year is set for Wednesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 28 at individual schools. Parents should contact their school for specific registration times. Read more.

Lake Ridge Elementary School is a fully accredited school of 520 students in grades K-5. We're a nine-time Prince William County School of Excellence awardee. We are proud of our French Program and of having achieved AYP. We're a friendly community and we love our students!
2nd Annual PTO Spellabration
Spellabration is a school-wide educational fund-raiser that gives our students an opportunity to demonstrate their word savvy and, at the same time, help raise money for LRES. For more information, see the PTO web page. The spellings lists are: Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade.
