Welcome to Lake Ridge Elementary School!
Lake Ridge Elementary School is a fully accredited school of 520 students in grades K-5. We're a nine-time Prince William County School of Excellence awardee. We are proud of our French Program and of having achieved AYP. We're a friendly community and we love our students!

LRES Library Awarded Book Grant
The LRES Library was selected to receive a We the People Bookshelf grant, which provided free hardcover editions of 17 classic books on the theme of "A More Perfect Union." LRES's Library Media Specialist, Miss Alarico, submitted the successful grant application.

Reading Buddies
Students gathered throughout our school to share their love of reading on Reading Buddy Day. Classes paired up and students took turns reading to one another. In this picture, a fifth-grader is reading to a kindergartener. Our students had a wonderful time together!

Congratulations LRES!
Together, the students, staff, and parents of LRES have achieved the distinction of being named a PWCS School of Excellence for the ninth time. This award is based upon student performance during the 2008-2009 school year. Associate Superintendent Lambert-Aikens presented our principal, Mrs. Sanders, with a plaque and a flag to recognize the accomplishment.
