Help Facilities Services Serve You—Emergency Notification Procedures

Who should you call for emergencies at your facility? To help us help you, the Office of Facilities Services provides the following information. We also provide a brief version of this information in the form of a magnet. To request magnets please contact Christine Honeycutt at 703.791.7222.

FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE NEEDS (non-emergency needs should go through a SchoolDude work order), please contact the numbers below during regular hours, Monday– Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If necessary, 911 should be your first call. It’s important that Facilities Services be contacted ASAP so we can dispatch our crews right away. Please do not delay our response by making calls to other departments and Associate Superintendents first.

Please note the two after-hour numbers above are cellular and subject to poor signal, possibly leading to an unanswered call. If this happens, please try it a second time before calling phone #2.

Constrained budgets and the need to limit overtime require your assistance when seeking “after hours” service. Please help us by:

  1. Confirming that the issue is truly an emergency that cannot wait for attention during normal hours
  2. Calling right away when an issue occurs. Waiting until the end of a school day often involves overtime.
  3. Please ensure that the person calling is a PWCS employee or a PWCS security resident.
